How I Can Help

  • Anxiety & Emotional Wellbeing

Support with anxiety, worry, difficult emotions and times when things feel emotionally overwhelming. Counselling can help you understand what you're experiencing and develop ways to manage it.

  • Stress & Feeling Overwhelmed

When the demands of everyday life begin to feel like too much, counselling can provide space to slow down, understand what is contributing to the stress and find more manageable ways of coping.

  • Life Changes & Transitions

Life changes can bring uncertainty, even when they are positive. Counselling can offer support while adjusting to changes, making decisions or finding your way through a new stage of life.

  • Self-Esteem & Confidence

Support in developing a more understanding relationship with yourself, recognising your strengths and building confidence in who you are and how you navigate challenges.

  • Difficult Experiences

A safe space to talk through difficult or upsetting experiences at your own pace, while working towards understanding, coping and moving forward.

  • Grief & Loss

Grief is deeply personal and can affect everyone differently. Counselling can provide a supportive space to process loss, explore difficult emotions and adjust to life after a significant loss.

A Personal Approach to Counselling

Optimal counselling and positive outcomes occur in environments where you feel comfortable and have the space to talk openly. Your circumstances are unique and require a unique approach and solutions.

Sessions are collaborative and explore events, patterns or challenges and the strategies to manage them. Where appropriate, I may draw on gentle, evidence-informed techniques to support you in developing new ways of thinking and coping.

My role isn't to tell you what you should do or to “fix” you. Instead, I'm here to support you, help you make sense of what you're experiencing and work alongside you as you develop the understanding, confidence and tools to navigate life in a way that feels right for you.

What to Expect

Starting counselling can feel unfamiliar, especially if you haven't spoken to a counsellor before. You don't need to know exactly what to say or have everything figured out. We can take things at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

Our sessions are a space to talk openly about what you're experiencing, explore what may be contributing to difficulties and begin identifying ways that may help. Some sessions may involve simply talking and being heard, while others may include practical tools or exercises where these feel helpful and appropriate.

In Person

In-person sessions take place in a private, peaceful setting in Balgowan, Midlands, KwaZulu-Natal, offering a quiet space away from the usual demands of everyday life.

Online

Online counselling is available via Google Meet, allowing you to access sessions from a private and comfortable space of your own.

Whether we meet in person or online, the aim is to create a supportive environment where you can feel comfortable, heard and respected.

Have Questions Before You Begin?
